Junior Digital Strategist

Mobilize Media is seeking a savvy Junior Digital Strategist to join our team! We are looking for a smart, driven, and highly creative individual who is looking to build her/his/their digital marketing skills and experience. Our ideal candidate has some experience in web design, social media, email marketing, and traffic. 

The Junior Digital Strategist must have wide knowledge of digital and other content delivery platforms. They excel at out-of-the-box thinking and are creative yet methodical in their approach at reaching specific market targets by using different digital mediums. They understand people and how they interact with digital media. They know what’s hot in the digital world before anyone else does and they closely follow trends related to how consumers are accessing information.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize clients lead generation by email campaigns, content marketing, paid media and social media channels.
  • Building email campaigns and quality assurance of all outbound campaigns
  • Assists with ongoing strategy and client communication 
  • Performing day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns
  • Performing day-to-day content marketing activities including, but not limited to, content creation, posting, scheduling and media monitoring
  • Assist in the creation of monthly reports and analysis for marketing clients
  • Excellent writing skills

Requirements

  • Marketing background in college/university and/or real world experience
  • Political experience or a strong interest in Canadian politics is an asset

Salary expectations: $40,000 - $60,000

Graphic Designer

We are looking for a highly creative Graphic Designer with a sharp eye for details to create engaging designs for social media and other platforms while following brand templates and style guidelines. Your goal will be to create impactful graphics and videos that build empathy and tell a story.

Candidates should be familiar with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and other graphic design applications. In this role, you will report to our Lead Designer. Candidates should be able to produce high-quality materials while sticking to deadlines.

  • Take direction from our Lead Designer
  • Collaborate with team members to launch projects
  • Adhere to project deadlines

Requirements:

  • Up to three years of experience as a Graphic Designer or equivalent role
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
  • Understanding of visual elements (layout, type, and fonts)
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Time management and multitasking abilities
  • Passionate about business and dissatisfaction with status quo – always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned clients
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely, while remaining motivated
  • Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude

Salary expectations: $40,000 - $60,000
