Senior Digital Strategist

Mobilize Media is seeking a Senior Digital Strategist to join our team! We are looking for a smart, driven and highly creative individual. Our ideal candidate has at least 2-3 years experience in proposal writing, social media and email marketing. It would be an added benefit to have a passion and basic skill set for business development.

The Digital Strategist must have wide knowledge of social media platforms. They excel at out-of-the-box thinking and are creative yet methodical in their approach at reaching specific market targets by using different digital media. They understand people and how they interact with digital media, they know what’s hot in the digital world before anyone else does and they closely follow trends related to how consumers are accessing information.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimizing client lead generation through email campaigns, content marketing, paid media and social media channels
  • Assisting with ongoing strategy and client communication 
  • Email marketing activities including email campaign set-up, scheduling, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns
  • Advertising management including ad campaign set-up, scheduling, monitoring, moderation and optimization
  • Content marketing activities including content creation, posting, scheduling and media monitoring
  • Monitoring of current social media trends
  • Assisting in the creation of monthly reports and analysis for marketing clients
  • Able to produce traditional media content including press releases, blogs and newspaper articles
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and develop strategic partnerships
  • Crafting of proposals and other documents in pursuit of gaining and maintaining clients

Requirements

  • Marketing background in college/university and/or real-world experience

Junior Creative (Graphics + Video)

Mobilize Media is searching for a new Junior Creative to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with a range of creative skills who is seeking to take their career to the next level working as part of a team working with a variety of brands and files.

This position is ideal for someone with creative passion and who seeks variety in their work across a range of products. If you crave a role where each day brings new challenges and an opportunity to amass experience with a broad client base, look no further – this is the job for you.

Our ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, displays initiative and can reliably carry out instructions and briefs. Our team primarily works in the Adobe Suite and preference will be given to those who do also. Experience on Figma is also a big plus. A good eye for design and an understanding of what makes content “work” is also a benefit as is a knowledge of Canadian politics and current events.  

You should have good knowledge of the fundamentals of graphic design, styles and layout techniques. You should have proficient video editing skills, including cutting clips, animation and caption work and be comfortable with fast turnaround times. 

Responsibilities

  • Clip and cut videos, add animations to text, video and graphics
  • Copy edit and place captions in videos
  • Design original pieces, including templates and social graphics
  • Refine images, fonts and layouts.
  • Adhere to individual client style guides
  • Generate ideas to portray concepts
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects
  • Liaise with marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Video Editor / Graphic Designer or similar role
  • Portfolio or examples of completed design projects
  • Hands-on experience with image editing software, like Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Figma
  • Strong aesthetic skills Attention to visual details
  • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team

  • Assisting the team with research, posting and daily administrative tasks.
